The Artists:

As a premier soloist, Ivan Parker is among the best-loved artists in gospel music.  A former member of the award-winning  Gold City Quartet for over a decade, he began his solo career in 1994. The awards Ivan has won through the years are too numerous to mention and attest to the success of his ministry.  Ivan recorded a very special song in 2008 entitled “I Choose” which topped the charts at the number #1 position.  This message became universal for Ivan and his audience as the lyrics of hope and encouragement rang out to a hurting world that they have the power to choose life over death, joy over sorrow and Faith over hopelessness. “The choice we have to follow God in the good times and the bad is easy once we make the decision to simply choose God.”  The same message is echoed in Ivan’s Signature Song – Midnight Cry, which he has sung literally all over the world.

The Primitive Quartet has been traveling and singing gospel music forty-three years. From the moment they take the stage, their traditional mountain shape note style captures your attention with their ability to sing and create a multi-instrument band by themselves which include the mandolin, banjo, fiddle, guitars and acoustic bass.  With some of the best musicians in the industry on stage, the Primitive Quartet draws a wide audience from across the Bluegrass and Gospel genres and are loved wherever they go.  Yet, it is their kind, gentle spirits emanating the love of Christ that will stay with you when the concert ends.

From her hometown of 180 people to Nashville, group manager Sarah Davison founded High Road in 2010. Their rapid popularity has lead them regularly perform at leading Gospel music events such as the Gatlinburg Gathering, Myrtle Beach’s Singing In The Sun and the National Quartet Convention, Sarah has also shared the stage with iconic Country Music Hall of Famer George Jones, Chris Young and performed on the Grand Ole Opry with ACM Award-winner Mark Willis to name a few . Whether through story or song, the women of High Road are pressing on to what God has called them; trusting He will make their paths straight as they submit to Him, and no matter what lies ahead, they’ll be going wherever the high road leads.
